Medical illustrations from 1790 to 1910 were created through a collaboration between physicians and artists. These illustrations, often based on deceased bodies, provided a subjective depiction of medical conditions that were distant from the patients' lived experiences. Using modern techniques typically employed in photorealism, we aimed to replicate the aesthetic of medical illustrations from that era.
